PARSONS MEAD SCHOOL
1897 - 2006
Parsons Mead was an outstanding Girls School in the heart of
Ashtead that had for over a century provided an education that turned out
confident, knowledgeable girls many of whom would go on to be leaders in their
chosen fields. This school was closed with unseemly haste at the beginning
of July 2006. The menus on your left will guide you through to a wealth of documentation and to the news that was published in local and national
newspapers about the closure and subsequent sale. We hope you find this useful.
As time goes on some of the links to newspaper articles etc may
disappear - this is because other websites remove older articles to make
room for new ones. Unfortunately the two web sites that provided
photographs of PM have now closed down and therefore the links to them
have been removed.
