Hello
everyone,
With
so much going on and the end of term
and the school fast approaching I
thought it was time to give you a
brief update. Everything you need to
know is on the website
www.pmparents.co.uk and you can
contact us at
info@pmparents.co.uk. However,
here’s a summary of what’s been
going on. I’ve probably forgotten
something but these are the big
items.
Parents Meeting
This
is on Monday 3rd July at St George’s
Church in Ashtead at 7.30pm. All
parents, staff, old girls,
governors/trustees, councillors
along with our MP and
representatives of Downsend/Cognita
have been invited – at present we
are awaiting confirmations of
attendance from the outside parties
but we do know there will be a
sizeable representation from the old
girls. The meeting will take place
in the church itself. At the meeting
the members of the committee will be
bringing you up to date on what they
have been doing in their specialist
areas. Please come along to the
meeting if at all possible.
Charity Commissioners
A
meeting between the Charity
Commissioners and the Trustees was
scheduled to take place last week.
There will be more on the work that
has been done in this area at the
Monday meeting.
Press
Coverage
Local
press coverage continues in several
papers including the Advertiser
Group and the Guardian Group – you
can link to these articles on line
through the website.
Website
The
website continues to grow, latest
additions are more documents, a
timeline of events, committee
responsibilities and lastly an open
forum section where you can post
your views, information etc….. The
website is updated as information
comes in, therefore I recommend that
you check it on a regular basis –
updates normally get on late at
night or anytime at weekends.
Mailing List
The
list is continuing to grow but we
are aware that the coverage in the
senior school is still very patchy.
If you are talking to other parents
and they haven’t been getting any
information please let them know
about the website and ask them to
send in their mailing details to
this address or to
subscribe@pmparents.co.uk . If
you don’t want to hear any more from
us please send a note to
unsubscribe@pmparents.co.uk and
your address will be removed from
the list.
Enough
from me, let’s make sure that the
girls last week at the school is
really special – something to look
back on with pride.
