Meeting
14th September Postponed
In
light of the fact that we have yet to
receive any reply from the Charity
Commission and that the one case that has
already gone to the solicitors has yet to
come to court it has been decided to
postpone the meeting at St George’s until
there is something new to communicate.
Charity commission verdict still awaited
The verdict of the investigation by the
Charity Commission into the closure is still
awaited. More people have registered their
concern with the events surrounding the
closure. If you still haven't registered
your concerns it's not too late. Simply send
your details (name, address, daughter’s /
son’s name and year group, or your
connection with the school) to
concern@pmparents.co.uk
and this will be passed to the Charity
Commission.
Compensation Claims
A claim made through a solicitor has been
made but there is little news as yet, two
other claims made through the small claims
court have been started - more news as we
have it.
Group widens its membership
The Parsons Mead Action Group has widened
its membership. Those receiving this
newsletter and representation on the
committee include the Parsons Mead Old Girls
Association, members of the Parsons Mead
staff, local residents and others who have
been affected in someway by the closure.

by the committee members.
New Signs at Parsons Mead
New signs have appeared at the school gates
saying

We understand that there has recently been a
problem with vandalism at the school.
